Today's Race of MotoGP: Phillip Island 2013

oh my God, this is my favourite circuit ever, including Pol Espargaro and Axel Pons. beautiful with a scenery of the beach and sea. and other creatures live on the track, yea you know it, seagulls. it's said that lots of legendary moments or maybe controversial moments happened here. or you can say that Phillip Island always give you twists and surprises in each year. well, what's gonna happen with last weekend? let's see in >> Tissot Australian Grand Prix

I'll face an examination week so I gotta pull this all together and spend time for studying. actually, next week is still going to be Exam week, but I spent a little time to post this for you. well, (it always starts with 'well') I didn't watch the race again like in Sepang haha. what a shame for me, I also forgot of what I did that day.

I didn't watch this race either. but epicness is also seen on the podium. you know what it is, when you have Jordi Torres on podium and what's going to happen next? yeap, the famous #kneeground pose haha and  the kneeground moment was owned not by Jordi himself, but by Tom and of course the race winner, Pol! happy faces everywhere :)

for some people who missed the race would be like "the hell is Marquez? he's not on podium?" yeap, you're gonna be surprised by what has happened that day. he was unluckily disqualified or black flagged on track. let's talk about that later and focus on the race previously.

here in Phillip Island was announced the possibilities calculation for Marc's Title this year. one of them is Marc wins, and Jorge finishes 5th or lower, which is kinda impossible or difficult since Jorge was the pole position owner, and he's going to be very fast. I also didn't watch the race start until in the middle of the race, and what I watched is from the race remained 11 laps. also here,  was announced a rule in Phillip Island. since the asphalt is kinda new and it made the rear tyre eroded immediately, the riders are allowed to go in to the pit stop to change the tyre in Lap 9 or Lap 10. this is where epic moments happened.

Dani went into the Pit Stop in Lap 9, while Jorge was seen going to Pit in Lap 10. and Marc.. he just fastened his gas and let himself to be the race leader temporarily. I don't know maybe it was kinda team's strategy, Marc also said that he didn't know if it isn't allowed to go to pit before the end of Lap 11 (well, Marc, it's called Lap 11 from the moment you touched the line at the end of Lap 10). I was completely shocked either to hear about this and saw this black flag with bike number 93 displayed.

I was shocked, but happy, too. it means that Marc doesn't get a point at all. and it changes a possibility calculation again. haha unique is when you know that Marc won't be out of the podium if it wasn't caused by crash or black flagged. it also means that he is so competitive that if he joins each race he is surely on Top 3. also, a mistake found in Pit Lane and this time is made by Dani. Dani is fined for dropped one position, as he trespassed the pit window line. I don't know for sure what this is all about, but Dani said that when he went out of the pit lane, he looked back and that's the moment when he touched white line where the white-dotted-line isn't finished yet.

when he knew about this penalty, he already dropped his position from 2nd to 3rd as he let Marc to pass him. it means that he already did the penalty. but lucky for him, after this, Marc is disqualified. and it made Dani to be on 2nd again behind Jorge. and let Valentino Rossi finished on 3rd after having epic battle (again) with Cal Cruthlow and Alvaro Bautista.

enough about the race which is very intense of course! and we know one thing that Marc is too ambitious of course and he was dying to give it all in Phillip Island but he found the worst way to finish it. yeap, first time black flagged I think. and here we have our three Australian Legendary World Champions: Wayne Gardner, Mick Doohan, and Casey Stoner. yeap, Casey is announced as MotoGP Legend.

the lap of honour

the Legends had a Lap of Honour right before MotoGP race was held. the Australian riders really looked cool with their bikes! there's the oldest model and the new model and all bikes are Honda.

and in the end of the race, Dani made a sentence, "this might look awesome and good on TV (Marc's black flag and Dani's penalty), but this is really embarrassing and a big punch for the team" sorry, Dani, I'm just happy to see you on podium without Marc getting a point..

forget about it and it's time for joyful moment!

this time is happened in Qualification Practice and happened to Jorge with local creatures, yeap seagull. it was seen that the seagull was flying and unfortunately pulled by wind and stuck into Jorge's machine. I don't know what happened to it, but I think it's killed :'( but LOL..
